Mistie Cogdill is a writer, certified teacher, workshop instructor, and travel enthusiast. Her debut novel, In the Right Time, the first book in the In Time time-travel romance series, was released in August of 2020. With a background in theatre, Mistie has always been exceptional at creating drama, a skill that carries over brilliantly in her writing. She’s also a life-long voracious reader, who’s a little obsessed with books, most notably the Outlander and Harry Potter series. Her other interests include beaches and day drinking. She’s a native Texan, where she lives with her hot-nerd of a husband, three beautiful teenage daughters, and two spoiled fur-babies.

Mistie graduated from Wayland Baptist University where she studied English. In 2017, she founded and continues to organize the annual Canadian River Valley Writer’s Workshop. She’s a member and director of the Texas High Plains Writers Association.
